Reviews about Brigance Roadhouse & Social Club
- 1 / 5By Joel CarvalhoWalked up to the front door and there was a big open sign, all lit up. Next to the sign was another sign that read, closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Being a Tuesday, I wondered if they had accidentally left the open sign on.
The door was open so I walked in. There was a couple sitting at a table next to the bar and a young woman standing over them. The young woman looked up at me like I had just walked into the wrong house and demanded, "what chu want?" I asked if they were open, the sign says you are closed on Tuesday. The guy at the table looks at me and then tells the waitress, yea, we open... The waitress relays the message to me as if I hadn't heard the guy sitting 3 ft from me. I stood, a bit confused by the whole situation, I really felt like I had walked in on people who did not want to be disturbed. After an awkward moment the waitress says, real slow, Sooooo, what chu want?
I'm not sure why most people go into restaurants, but I usually go in to eat, so I said, "food" The waitress says, all we have today in hamburgers and hot dogs. The guy at the table tells the waitress that they also have one chicken teriyaki left and the lady at the table tells the waitress that they also have chilli.
I decided I didn't want to disturb these folks any more than I already had so I can't review the food only the most unwelcome feeling I've ever gotten at a restaurant. I really don't understand why some people get into the restaurant business. They obviously didn't want to be there any more than they wanted me there.February 22, 2017 - 5 / 5By Nathan MearsI Love this Place!! The owners are old roadies and have cool stuff on the walls and a nice little stage. The waitress was a very nice young lady who greeted us with a cheery "Hello!, what can we do for you?" and showed us to a booth across from the fireplace. We thoroughly enjoyed the Nachos, The Bison Chili was Awesome!! and My Cheese Steak the best I've ever had, They said they get the rolls from Philly so the sandwiches are just right and the Sweet Cherry Peppers are the way to do it....
The Draught IPA was cold and The Old Numbskull Excellent!!
For dessert, we had the Black Cherry Baked Custard Pie...Again Awesome!!
After dinner we went to the bar for another Numbskull and chatted with the bartender, who showed us concert posters and shirts, we were occasionally interrupted by people and groups of people requesting to use the restroom, the Bartender replied that restrooms were for customers and directed them to the nearest service station. I bought a Foo Fighters "Crew" shirt for $30 and a nice glass "tobacco" pipe for $20
All around great time great people I will be back often.January 09, 2017 - 5 / 5By Mark BriganceI always love to eat the Philly cheese royaleAugust 30, 2016
